John Barrowman of TV's Torchwood and Doctor Who will be at C2E2 this weekend signing autographs

C2E2 (Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo) is happening this weekend at McCormick Place‘s North Building (2301 S. Lake Shore Drive  Chicago, IL 60616).  The event features some of the biggest and brightest in the film, comic book, gaming worlds.  There’ll be plenty of opportunities too let your inner fanboy (or fangirl) geek out, get signed autographs, buy some awesome merchandise, attend panels and more.

Entertainment celebrities in attendance the rest of this weekend include John Barrowman (Torchwood, Doctor Who), Nicholas Brendon (TV’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Anthony Daniels (Star Wars‘ C-3PO), Val Kilmer (The Doors, Batman Forever), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings) and John Cusack (The Raven).

There will also be comic book and literary luminaries such as Joe Quesada (Marvel‘s Chief Creative Officer), Tony Moore (The Walking Dead), Anne Rice (The Vampire Chronicles) and Charlaine Harris (Sookie Stackhouse series aka HBO‘s True Blood).

In addition to these guests, there will be daily costume contests, an auction of memorabilia from Captain America: The First Avenger, Quidditch matches (from Harry Potter), a game of Humans Vs. Zombies, Ink-Fusion Tattoo Festival and much, much more.
