Kathy Carberry: Hi Selita, how are you today?
Selita Ebanks: I’m good, how are you?
KC: I’m good. I want to start on a light note. Did you make any lasting friendships do you think? Is there anyone you’d like to keep in touch with as far as the ladies go?
SE: Absolutely. Well of course Holly (Robinson Peete), you know I’m so amazed at her. She’s done so well for her charity. She’s an amazing fund raiser and she’s – you know I love her spirit and you know the fact that she’s so true to her cause.
And of course Summer Saunders, she works with war-torn countries, bringing sports to war-torn countries and hopefully our charities are similar so hopefully we can unite and do something great for the nation of Sierra Leone.
And I follow Maria (Kanellis) on Twitter and you know I encourage people to go buy her album. I just saw Sinbad in Cleveland. Yes, you know what, I think I created a really good group of friends that I can probably call on in the future, definitely.
KC: That’s great, that’s great. What’s next for you? Would you like to be on another reality show do you think?
SE: No way. I’ve done all the reality I need (and gotten that) out of my system. It was a great experience, great cause, great people, everything but I know now that I am not made for reality television.
KC: I get you.
SE: I’ll just do TV though.
KC: One more personal question because I’m a big Chicago Bulls fan. What is Scottie Pippen really like to work with?
SE: He’s really laid back, really easy, cool. He was actually really helpful with Holly and I because in the beginning when we first got there we were short handed.
So he physically helped us which was really nice because he definitely did not have to do that. It says a lot about his character that he was a team player.
KC: Yeah, he has always seemed like a cool guy.
SE: Yeah, he was really cool.
KC: Great, thank you very much Selita and congratulations on your charity.
SE: Thank you so very much, I appreciate that.
