The 2010 Pitchfork Music Festival have announced an initial lineup, tickets for which are on sale today at 12 PM CST. Headliners include Modest Mouse (Friday), LCD Soundsystem (Saturday) and the reunited Pavement (Sunday). The 3-day concert extravaganza to be held, as in all previous years, at Chicago’s Union Park, on July 16-18 will also feature Raekwon, St. Vincent, Lightning Bolt, Cass McCombs, Here We Go Magic, Sleigh Bells and more artists to be named in time.
Again, tickets are on sale today at 12 PM CST at Pitchfork Music Festival. Sindle-day tickets can be purchased for $40 and three-day passes for $90. Unlike in past years, there will not be any two-day passes for sale. However, Friday looks to be an all-day affair as the organizers promise more bands for a longer day of music.
You may remember Rock ‘n Roll Ghost and Son of Ghost didn’t have a particularly great time at last year’s event. Hopefully, the organizers have taken into account many of the attendees’ issues for correction in 2010.
