Norah Jones Returns With “The Fall” On November 17th

Norah Jones will start a series of TV appearances beginning tonight on CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman where the Grammy-winning artist will perform “Chasing Pirates” the lead single from her new album The FallThe Fall will be released on November 17th on EMI’s Blue Note Records.

Jones will also make appearances on ABC’s Good Morning America on November 16th, Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report on November 18th, ABC’s The View on November 23rd, as well as be the feature of interview segments with ABC News’ Nightline, CNN Headline News and NPR Morning Edition.

The Fall is streaming now in full as part of NPR Music’s “Exclusive First Listen” series until its release.

norah-jonesJones collaborates with a rich array of talent on .  Producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Tom Waits, Modest Mouse), frequent writing partner Jesse Harris, new writing partners Ryan Adams and Will Sheff (Okkervil River).

Jones’ band is a brand new and supremely talented group of musicians.  Drummer Joey Waronker (Beck), James Gadson (Bill Withers), keyboardist James Poyser (Erykah Badu, Al Green), guitarist Marc Ribot (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello) and the great Smokey Hormel (Johnny Cash, Joe Strummer, Beck and his new solo release, Smokey’s Secret Family.
