MP3: Robin Guthrie – “Some Sort Of Paradise”
During his time as a member of Cocteau Twins, Robin Guthrie created some of the most haunting and beautiful music from the end of the last century. He also lent his talents to producing numerous artists, many of whom he had a direct influence on.
Now Guthrie is releasing a new solo effort, Carousel, out September 28th on Darla Records. Carousel comes smack dab in the middle of two Guthrie EPs, Angel Falls (released in spring) and Songs To Help My Children Sleep (due November 17th).
Though the dream of a Cocteau Twins reunion seems unlikely, fans at least have Carousel to keep them warm at night on these ever colder nights.
