The rumor is no more. Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana), Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss) and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) are a reality!
The as-yet-unnamed band will make what appears to be their first live performance as a trio this coming Sunday night in Chicago at the famed Metro.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 6th at 10:00 AM CST via eTix.com (no walk ups available).
The show will start, it says at 11:59 PM that day. Read the rules on this link to make sure you don’t fuck anything up: eTix.com.
Really hoping that the Ghost will be in attendance, but damn if there aren’t a lot of big ticket items pulling him in different directions this month!
UPDATE: Big thanks to my good friend Jim DeRogatis of the Chicago Sun-Times for giving the Ghost a nice shout out in his news item on this event!
