One of the few pop stars that Rock & Roll Ghost not only enjoys, but is enthralled by, P!nk, will perform at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. The spunky, crazy-sexy star has also set some U.S. tour dates for the fall (full dates below), coming off the heels of an extended stay of 58 shows in Australia (read all about it on P!nk’s Twitter account here). P!nk sold over 1 million tickets in Europe as well. Holy Jeebus! Her latest hit album, Funhouse (no relation to the classic album by The Stooges) has sold over 4 million copies worldwide. In this day and age of weak album sales that is indeed a major accomplishment.
Her current single, “Please Don’t Leave Me”, is in the top ten on the Billboard charts and it is her 12th top ten single in her career. She’s tied with Justin Timberlake and Nelly for most top ten Billboard singles of all time, behind only Madonna and Mariah Carey.
