Chicago’s Bruiser are releasing RightBeforeTheStopAhead will be officially released today, October 24th with a record release party at Chicago’s Elbo Room with digital copies will be available free to the public at Bruiserband.com.
Produced by Steven Haigler (The Pixies, Quicksand, Local H) the band recorded RightBeforeTheStopAhead this spring after road-testing the material to crowds at Chicago’s Empty Bottle, Metro, the Double Door and more.

Team Love is releasing “Worm’s Head” (7″ / Digital) and The Last Laugh (lp) the debut single and album from UK-based Joker’s Daughter, featuring vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Helena Costas.
Costas, who was born in London but is of Greek Cypriot origin, created The Last Laugh with Danger Mouse and features the horns of Neutral Milk Hotel’s Scott Spillane and the string arrangements of frequent Danger Mouse collaborator Daniele Luppi.

Juliette said she wanted to, “combine her classical roots with her love of Tangerine Dream-esque arpeggiators and synthesizers,” on this album. Perhaps you will agree or not.
